Jennifer Powell

I spent 8 years of my life working in Social Services. Group homes, homeless shelters and youth addiction services. I had a front row seat to family breakdown, generational struggles, and missing family units. If there was one thing those years taught me it was the desire to be able to be present in my childrens lives. I wanted my time back… and in turn I wanted to give others their time back.

I have always been a Type A personality. To do lists, organizing and execution were my strongest points in any job I’ve ever had. I have people in my life that are the complete opposite and I thought why not help those people gain their time back. So Powell Prosperity Assisting was born. My goal is to provide professional service with a personal touch to business owners to allow them to maximize their time. When I can handle all the small tedious tasks for others then it gives them their time back to focus on their most important things. I realised that if I use my strengths to help others, then I can still make a small difference in the world by allowing others more time.

One of my favourite quotes is ‘Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence.” Making the decision to become remote in my passion allows me no limits in who I can help and is not dependent on physical location. With that, it also allows me to contribute to the economy in different areas of the world. By helping my own clients I also get the privelage to help different agencies and communities in the places we live. Bringing service to others in many different ways.
